Welcome to the home of the Inclusioneers, where we spotlight the Food Bank staff members dedicated to driving diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives within our organization. Inclusioneers Activity

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, we kicked off the Extra Mile Walk by joining forces with the Lincoln Public Schools Scholar Equity Cadre to host Steps Toward Equity: An Extra Day for Progress. Scholars, Food Bankers and community members participated in honest conversations about food equity in our community—specifically for children— and dug deeper into the Food Bank of Lincoln’s Child Hunger Programs. As one scholar eloquently explained: “Today, we’re planting the seeds of progress.”
