Waking Up To Uncertainty

Blanca is unable to work and stays at home to care for her children. Her husband finds employment at local restaurants but is unable to provide a consistent income. Every morning, Blanca wakes up uncertain of what food she will be able to provide for her children – and constantly worrying if her husband still has a job.

“All I can say is thank you to the Food Bank. They give my kids food, otherwise we often wouldn’t have any, or enough. Sometimes, my husband gets to bring home the leftovers from his work,” said Blanca.
