Needed: Food Sorting Volunteers
Where: Food Bank of Lincoln (4840 Doris Bair Circle, Ste A, Lincoln NE 68504)
Why: Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Sorting
When: Saturdays, May 19, June 2, June 9, June 16 and June 23, 8:00 to 12:00pm
How Many volunteers: Needed 5 to 10 sorting volunteers per shift.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, able to stand for this opportunity.

May 26 & 27 - Hot Rod Super Nationals
Food and Cash Collection Volunteers: Volunteer event will be in 2 1/2 hour shifts: Saturday May 26th First Shift starting at 9:00 am and last shift ending at 7:00. Sunday May 27, First shift 9:00 am and last shift ending at 3:00.
Volunteer will be at a table accepting food and cash donations for the Food Bank of Lincoln. This event will take place a the Lancaster Event Center. 2-3 volunteers per shift needed.

Donations of time are very important to keep the Food Bank operating effectively. Some of the opportunities that are available are:
- Picking up donated food
- Sorting, stocking, and repacking food
- Delivering promotional supplies
- Preparing mailings
- Working at special events
- Telephone follow-up
- Working at the LPS Emergency Pantry
The Food Bank has volunteer hours available:
Monday thru Friday: 1pm – 4pm
Thursday & Friday: 9am -12pm
The Food Bank of Lincoln is always in need of volunteers for events and special promotions which would be off-site.
