Veterans Freedom Music Festival

About the Event:
The 8th Annual Veterans Freedom Music Festival is Saturday, August 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.in The Railyard, beneath the Cube in The Historic Haymarket in Lincoln, NE.

Opening ceremony starts 10:30 a.m. sharp.

The band line up for this year is the best yet, and is sure to offer a great afternoon of live music and fun! The top bands in the Lincoln area will be featured, offering a wide range of musical offerings every hour, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Bands will perform on a stage, right below the Cube!

Following are the bands who have generously donated their time and talent in support of our veterans.

10:30 a.m. - Opening Presentation of Colors and National Anthem by Carolyn Oleson
11:00 a.m. - Enigma
Noon - 3 Chords and a Cloud of Dust
1:00 p.m. - Hard Knox Band
2:00 p.m. - Pinkertones
3:00 p.m. - Loose Affiliation
4:00 p.m. - Chickn Fried Moses
5:00 p.m. - Closing and Taps

Closing Ceremony
We conclude with the playing of Taps and retiring of the colors, all of which should conclude by 5:30 p.m..

There will also be information and veteran outreach activities booths to learn more about the services and benefits provided by the VA.

How You Can Help Support Our Veterans
Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food, which will be donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln to give to the Veterans' Pantry.

There will be booths to provide information about VA Health Care & Veteran's Services Organizations.

Plus, the event is free and open to the public
