Veggie Noodle Co. of Austin, Texas is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of Butternut Spirals due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children,
The recalled product was distributed to Whole Foods Markets and other retailers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.
The recalled product is packaged in a 10.7oz clear plastic container, has the UPC Code 852287006059 and has an “Enjoy By” date of February 23, 2017 (located on the side of the packaging). Products with other “Enjoy By” dates are not affected. Sold in refrigerated sections of the grocery store. The potential contamination of the Butternut Spirals was found as a result of routine product testing and the recall was initiated by Veggie Noodle Co. out of an abundance of caution.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled Veggie Noodle Co. Butternut Spirals are urged not to consume it, and either discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
Online Ordering Issue
The Agency Express Unsafe issue is now solved.
Agency Express submitted a request to Microsoft this morning for the Unsafe warning giving by the Microsoft browsers. Microsoft reviewed the site and determined that Agency Express has no security issue. The Unsafe warning message has been removed by Microsoft. Agencies may now access Agency Express via Microsoft browsers (MS Edge and Internet Explore).

Online Ordering issues
Today, Microsoft Edge is reporting that http://agencyexpress3.org/AgencyExpress30/NewLogin.aspx is an unsafe website. This impacts the agency who is using MS Edge or Internet Explore for online ordering. When these agencies access Agency Express from these two browsers, they would see the Unsafe warning message.
Technical support has made sure that Agency Express is a secured website. It is not only secured by SSL(Secure Sockets Layer), but also secured by only allowing the approved IP Address with valid credentials to transfer files.
As of now, technical support confirms that the site passes the safety check on Chrome and Firefox. They recommend agencies access Agency Express via Chrome and Firefox for now before we solve the issue.
We will send you an update once we have a permanent fix for this issue.
RECALL NOTICE: Tzatziki Sauce
Falafel King of Boulder, Colorado is notifying the public that its containers of Tzatziki Sauce made with sour cream contains milk, a known allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Falafel King Tzatziki Sauce is distributed to retail stores in certain areas of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Nebraska.
Falafel King Tzatziki Sauce is sold in a 10 ounce plastic container with a black rimmed lid with the UPC #822986-70015-2 and a “Sell By” date printed on the top label. The old label on this product will have a “Sell By” date prior to 03/04/17.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with our product.

Food Bank of Lincoln Closing Update
The Food Bank of Lincoln will be closed Tuesday, January 17, due to inclement weather. There will be no deliveries, pick-ups, or mobile distributions.
Food Bank employees have been instructed not to report to work as well.
The Food Bank office will be open for business Wednesday, January 18.
Please know that because the Food Bank was closed today and tomorrow we are behind on creating Wednesday orders. If you have an order for Wednesday please call Mary Arter Wednesday to set up a new date and time to pick-up your order.
