The Food Bank distributes food to a network of non-profit agencies in 16 southeastern Nebraska counties.
These agencies all distribute food free of charge to people in need.
In 2012, the Food Bank of Lincoln was able to distribute 7,493,148 meals at a cost of $.33 per pound. A $10 contribution can be used to provide approximately 25 meals for those in need.
